This time I made a song by playing around with a bunch of newly-procured analog filters. I've always been consistent in the way I influence a song's dynamics with polyphony and phrasing, but ... wow, I was surprised. You can get this sort of dynamics from a single filter. I guess I'm a little obsessed now. Next time I want to try it on vocals.

Making a dancer movie, especially one that focuses on just a single person, is kind of like a sign of your first period. I was able to make the filming a lot of fun. The dancer was a really good humoured guy, and even though he had just suddenly fell into poor physical condition, he danced really well for me. It looks like the dancers in the old IIDX dance movies were ad-libbing, but this time the dancer put on a show to make sure the dance fit the song.
